Inter are more likely to swoop for Dejan Kulusevski than they are for Arturo Vidal as they look to strengthen their midfield in the January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri were previously prepared to do a deal with Atalanta over Kulusevski and leave him out on loan at Parma but with Stefano Sensi looking no closer to a return from injury, Inter may well speed things up and sign him to use immediately.

The Swedish international has his eyes set on a place in the team for next Summer’s European Championships and knows that continuing to play regularly with Parma would certainly help his case for a place in the team. The report states that Kulusevski may struggle to resist the presumed advances of the Nerazzurri club though.

He has made 13 appearances across all competitions this season in which he has scored three goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
