Former Inter and current Italian national team manager Roberto Mancini has praised Inter for how they have started the 2019/20 Serie A season but insists it is still premature to discuss who will be the champions come the end of the season.
Inter currently find themselves leading the way in Serie A with 37 points to their name after 14 games played, one more point than second placed Juventus.
“It is still early to talk about who will win the title in Serie A. Inter are having a great season and being ahead of Juventus is not easy given the squad they have but they can fight for the title until the end,” he remarked in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
Mancini, who spent six years in charge of the Nerazzurri, spread across two separate spells, added: “Inter are a solid team, who fight to the end and succeed in always bringing the result home even when they find themselves suffering.”
