Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini has shared his desire to end his barren run in front of goal in the Giallorossi’s upcoming Serie A match away to Inter.
The 23-year-old has the joint second most assists in Serie A this term with six and has assisted in each of his last two appearances in the league but he is still looking to score his first goal of the season.
“It is true that I have not scored yet. I miss the feeling that scoring a goal brings but I will certainly try to score on Friday against Inter,” he remarked in an interview with Milanese newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Pellegrini, who has drawn several links to Inter in the past, has made 10 appearances across all competitions this season, in which he has spent a decent amount of time on the sidelines due to a metatarsal injury. In 773 minutes on the park, he has contributed eight assists.
