Inter Defender Godin: “Back To Work, An Important Week Begins”

Diego Godin has taken to social media platform Twitter to document his preparations ahead of Inter’s upcoming Serie A match at home to Roma.

The 33-year-old central defender joined Inter on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Spanish side Atletico Madrid over the Summer and has went on to make 13 appearances across all competitions.

In just shy of 1000 minutes on the field, the experienced Uruguayan, who is under contract until the end of the 2021/22 season, has one assist to his name.

“Back to work! An important week begins, with joy and much enthusiasm,” he posted.
