Inter manager Antonio Conte and Roma manager Paulo Fonseca have overseen two of the biggest change in fortunes this season compared to last at their respective employers according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Both managers have managed to help their side to pick up an extra eight points compared to this time last season, when neither of them were in charge.

This has all been made possible due to the abundance of changes that both clubs made during the Summer transfer window. Not only did both clubs bring them in as managers but they also backed them handsomely in the transfer window spending lots to get the manager’s desired targets.

Even at this stage of the season, with well over half of it still to go, Conte appears to have Inter performing at their best and now has the tricky task of having the team maintain it for the remainder of the season. Fonseca’s Roma have meanwhile shown plenty of promise and have also given the impression that there is still more to come from them.
