In an interview with Inter’s in-house channel Inter TV, central defender Stefan de Vrij has admitted he is well aware that he and his teammates will not have it easy against Roma.

“Roma are doing well in the league, but we are also having positive performances. We want to play well tonight. It will not be easy, but we believe in ourselves. We want to get the three points,” the Dutchman explained.

He was then asked about Roma striker Edin Dzeko, who has been one of Roma’s best players this season and is their top scorer with eight goals.

“Dzeko is one of the strongest strikers in Italy. I do not know if he will play or not, in the latter case, they will play another kind of football. We are ready for anything as we have prepared well for this match and we know what to do on the pitch. We will try to win this game.”
