Former Inter defender Marco Materazzi has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to hit back at Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the Swede revealed he took great pleasure in hospitalising the Italian.

In a recent interview with GQ, Ibrahimovic, who is currently without a club, recalled the time Materazzi injured him in a match and how he longed for revenge after it and got it a few years later in a Milan derby when he kicked Materazzi.

“Thank you Zlatan Ibrahimovic, without you we would never have won,” he captioned a post of him and his Inter teammates celebrating with the Champions League trophy which Inter won the season after Ibrahimovic departed for Barcelona.
