Antonio Conte is currently undecided as to whether to start Diego Godin or Danilo D’Ambrosio as the third central defender for tonight’s match against Roma according to a report in today’s print edition of Cirrere dello Sport.
D’Ambrosio took the place of the Godin for the 2-1 win over SPAL at the weekend in order to allow the Uruguayan to rest after the 3-1 win in the Champions League against Slavia Prague.
With D’Ambrosio putting in a solid performance, Conte is unsure whether he should drop him to allow Godin back into the fold.
The report from the Rome based newspaper also states that Kwadwo Asamoah could make a return to action. A knee injury has kept the Ghanaian defender out as of late but he could come off the substitutes bench near the end to get some minutes into his legs.
Probable Inter line-up (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Diego Godin, Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar; Antonio Candreva, Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic, Borja Valero, Cristiano Biraghi; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.
