A report in today’s print edition of Turin newspaper Tuttosport has taken a look at Marcelo Brozovic’s importance to Inter.
“The emblem of this Inter side is Marcelo Brozovic in the midfield. Brozovic is a true workaholic who now offers performances of a middle-distance runner and not only as a the player who controls the game in front of the defence. Brozovic has always been present in the Inter team and the only other outfielder to do start every game alongside him is Milan Skriniar,” the report begins.
“Conte is asking for one last push from the players available to him who have had to play many games in close proximity to others. Conte continues to pound the team with high-intensity training sessions. Double training sessions are often used in order to make the team ready for anything. All of the Inter team run tirelessly in matches with the team averaging 111.3km per game.”
The report concludes: “Now the team has to close the year in the best way possible, then it will be able to rest in the Christmas holidays and will start again in January reassured by excellent returns in the shape of Sanchez, Barella and Sensi. With them it will be possible to broaden the range of choices and for some players to take a breath.”
