Manchester United could attempt to sign Christian Eriksen in the January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
The Spurs midfielder’s contract is up at the end of the season and it looks extremely likely that he will depart for pastures new at the end of the campaign.
Spurs understandably do not wish to lose a player of his calibre for nothing and it is for this reason that they have slashed their demands for Danish international in half from €80 million to €40 million in an attempt to at least get something for the 27-year-old.
Juventus, Real Madrid and Inter have all also shown an interest in signing him but as per the report all three clubs would rather try and sign him on a free transfer instead.
This season the former Ajax player has made 17 appearances across all competitions, in which he has contributed two goals and provided as many assists.
