The money raised through the sale of striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa will help Inter partly finance their January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Inter and Flamengo, where he has been on loan since January, are in talks over a €22 million transfer which would include a future sale clause in favour of Inter.

The Nerazzurri club are looking to sign a midfielder or two in January to strengthen that department of the team and are considering both Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul and Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal.

As per various reports in the media, Udinese are looking for a sum of between €30 and €35 million to part ways with the Argentine, who has arguably outgrown the club, who have struggled in recent years.

Vidal is currently unhappy with his playing situation at the Blaugrana and has said that if it does not change he will be forced to look elsewhere but Barcelona reportedly want €40 million, despite him being 32.
