Former Italian coach Bortolo Mutti, who worked with teams such as Verona and Napoli, discussed Inter’s goalless draw against Roma last night in an interview today with Italian radio station Radio Sportiva.

“It was a fair draw, the defences got the better of the attacks, certainly for the Nerazzurri there will be the regret for missing the chance to go four points ahead of Juventus.”

Mutti then touched on Lazio’s league clash against the Bianconeri tonight, a game all Inter fans will be paying attention to. A victory for Juventus would see them return to the top of the league table.

“The Biancocelesti are in great condition, motivated and with the ambition to act as possible candidates for the Scudetto race. It won’t be easy for the Bianconeri.”

Lazio are third in the league table after 14 games, sitting six points behind the second place Juventus. A Lazio victory would take them into consideration as possible competition for the league title this season.
