Roma centre back Gianluca Mancini has shared his thoughts and feelings following their goalless draw away to league leaders Inter last night.

“I had fun, I could not wait to play this game against a great team and at a full stadium. We can be satisfied having gained a point,” he told Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

The young Italian, who joined the Giallorossi from Atalanta this past Summer, then spoke on the battle he had with Inter striker Lautaro Martinez at San Siro.

“Playing against a striker like Lautaro Martinez was beautiful and helps me grow. It was a nice duel. I made some mistakes but Leonardo Spinazzola helped me out. I am trying to learn as much as possible.”

In conclusion the 23-year-old shared what his and his teammates goal for the season is: “We want to fight to qualify for the Champions League, we have a nice group of experienced players who help out us young players.
