Roma defender Gianluca Mancini spoke highly of Inter’s attacking partnership of Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku in an interview with Italian broadcaster SportMediaset yesterday, following the end of the goalless draw between the two clubs at the San Siro.

“We knew of the strength of Lautaro and Lukaku, we had prepared for them this week and I think that Chris and I have had a good match. Every now and then we’ve made a few mistakes, every now and then we’ve won some duels, when you play games of this type it’s up to you. We’re satisfied.”

The Giallorossi’s draw against Inter last night saw them climb to only one point behind rivals Lazio, who are currently third place with 30 points. Both Inter and Roma will now watch tonight’s league clash between the Biancocelesti and Juventus keenly, as the results of the game will affect the position of both Inter and Roma.
