The report details how the Nerazzurri will fully examine the physical condition of 32-year-old Italian midfielder Antonio Candreva, who suffered back discomfort last night in the draw against Roma and was forced off the pitch. If he is unable to play against the Blaugrana on Tuesday Inter are ready to deploy Italian wing back Danilo D’Ambrosio in his place, following his return to full fitness.
Furthermore, Inter are hoping that Ghanaian wing back Kwadwo Asamoah will be fully fit in time for the vital Champions League clash, the report continues. If so, they plan to deploy him over the 34-year-old Spanish midfielder Borja Valero, who the Nerazzurri feel isn’t the strongest option against the Catalan club. A victory against Barcelona is crucial for Inter if they want to qualify for the next round of the competition.
