In drawing 0-0 with Roma last night, Inter failed to score for the first time in a competitive match during the tenure of manager Antonio Conte, sports data and analytics company Opta have highlighted.

Prior to this result, which could have been significantly different had Inter taken their many clear cut chances, the Nerazzurri had scored at least one goal in each of their previous 19 games across all competitions.

Romelu Lukaku, Matias Vecino, Lautaro Martinez and Marcelo Brozovic all missed glaring opportunities whilst Roma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante was in inspired form and kept out several other efforts.
