In an interview with Inter’s in-house channel Inter TV, centre back Milan Skriniar shared his views following Inter’s goalless draw with Roma last night.
“We are a bit disappointed. We were unable to score goals; we could have won this match against a good team. These kind of games are always tough but I think we prepared well enough,” he explained.
“We did not give up and from the first until the last minute we tried to win but there is some regret as we did not succeeding in scoring a goal. The fact we did not concede a goal is positive though. We must continue to work.”
In conclusion he spoke on Inter’s final Champions League group stage match at home to Barcelona.
“Now we need to rest and we will try to prepare ourselves to win this great game. We must not give up, we must always go at 100%.”
