Borja Valero has shared his disappointment following Inter’s goalless draw at home to Roma, a match which Inter could have won by a good few goals if it was not for Roma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante.
“There is some regret as we had some rather clear cut chances. We must continue to work as we have very important matches coming up. We must take the positives from this match. We had opportunities to win the match and it is a shame that we didn’t,” he said in an interview with Inter TV.
“Personally speaking, I feel very good. I have always trained well and was always ready for when I was needed. I have always trained at 100% in a bid to carve out a space for myself and that space has arrived.
He also touched upon Inter’s final Champions League group stage match against Barcelona on Tuesday night.
“It will be a very complicated game against a very strong team. We will be playing at home and we have to take our chances if we want to progress to the next round.
