Inter’s ultras in the Curva Nord have released a statement today on their official Facebook page, confirming that they will cheer passionately for the Nerazzurri and coach Antonio Conte on Tuesday in Inter’s final Champions League clash against Barcelona.
The report was titled: “The Nord is with the Inter that wins or loses, the rest of the stadium will adjust or will be ashamed.”
The communication then went into further detail about Tuesday’s game.
“It did not take Conte’s call to see how too many people in San Siro are not worthy of those who represent our team. For us, it is unacceptable that, every time the team reaches the levels of competitiveness that we care about, the rest of the public is attacked by the ‘missed Juventus syndrome’ so that only the result begins to count.”
The Ultras then touched on the history of Inter and their growth so far this season.
“We are the Inter emblem of Milanese tradition and values that must go beyond the result.
Those who want to be with Inter should abandon certain pathetic result hysteria and honour those who have brought us back to compete today. If we win or lose on Tuesday, Inter are already going beyond expectations and for this reason they deserve the full support of those who should love them unconditionally.”
Finally, the communication highlighted that the fans will support the squad and Conte regardless of the result.
“Tuesday not only the Curva but the whole stadium for 90 minutes of support beyond the result.”
