Inter defender Milan Skriniar expressed his disappointment about the Nerazzurri’s goalless draw against Roma yesterday in an interview with Italian broadcaster SportMediaset.
“We’re a bit disappointed because today it was a game to win, even if Roma are a good team. But given the opportunities that we have created from at least one we had to score.”
The 24-year-old Slovakian defender then spoke about Lazio’s league clash against Juventus tonight. A victory for Juventus would see them return to the top of the league table.
“It’ll be nice if Juve don’t win, but we are thinking about ourselves and we go game to game. The league is still long, many games are yet to be played, let’s see what happens at the end.”
The Nerazzurri are still top of the league table, but only sit two points ahead of the Bianconeri, meaning tonight’s game between the Turin based club and Lazio will be one to watch for the Nerazzurri and their fans.
