Arturo Vidal wants a move to Inter but as things currently stand there is only an outside chance that he joins the Nerazzurri according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter manager Antonio Conte is believed to want a reunion with the Chilean international midfielder but Barcelona’s high demands for the 32-year-old make things difficult.

Barcelona have no interest in loaning him out and some reports have stated that they want as much as €40 million to part ways with him.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that Conte will have a meeting with chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio after tonight’s match against Barcelona in the Champions League.

It is believed that on top of asking for reinforcements for the midfield, he will also highlight the need for another left wing back due to Kwadwo Asamoah’s knee troubles.

Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso could be the player that Conte requests. The Spaniard has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge and could be allowed to leave on loan.
