Stefano Sensi could make the bench for Inter for the match against Genoa in 11 days time according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
The Italian international midfielder has been struggling with a thigh injury for a number of weeks now and was recently sent to a specialist to get to the bottom of the problem.
He is currently training, albeit separate from the rest of his teammates, and is showing signs of progress in his recovery.
Since has played just once in the past two months since initially sustaining the injury in the 2-1 loss against Juventus. He came off the bench against Borussia Dortmund a few weeks back but that only led to him aggravating the injury again and he has not featured since then.
This season he has made 10 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored three goals and provided four assists for his teammates.
