Franck Ribery’s condition will be evaluated tomorrow ahead of Fiorentina’s Serie A match at home to Inter this weekend according to a report from Italian radio station Radio Bruno.

The veteran Frenchman has missed both of La Viola’s past two matches due to an ankle injury and tomorrow’s tests will be decisive in deciding whether he is in good enough condition to be made back available to manager Vincenzo Montella.

The 36-year-old, who joined the Florence based club on a free transfer this past Summer, has made 11 appearances across all competitions, during which he has scored twice and provided two assists.

The report from Radio Bruno goes on to state that Fiorentina have a lot of optimism that German Pezzella will make a return to action.

Pezzella has missed Fiorentina’s past three games due to a cheekbone fracture but resumed training with the rest of the team today, albeit with a protective mask over his face.
