In an interview with Inter TV, Cristiano Biraghi has insisted that he and his teammates must move on from the disappointment of elimination from the Champions League and begin to think about the next match.

“It is normal to be so upset, we gave everything and tried everything, we can’t have any complaints. We’ll be down tonight but from tomorrow we’ll start thinking about the next game, we can’t make the mistake of dwelling on this defeat too much. It’s part of the game, we’re professionals, Sunday will be a good test of our maturity as a side,” he began.

“We will analyse the game and look at what we could have done better. Barcelona have a lot of quality and sometimes they managed to escape our press and we had to drop back a bit.”

He concluded by further discussing Sunday’s match away to Fiorentina: “Florence is a difficult place to go, the atmosphere is always intense when big sides play there and the home team feed off that. They’re not on the best form and because of that they’ll want to give even more.”
