Inter Defender Milan Skriniar: “We Gave Everything & Deserved More”

Milan Skriniar had admitted to being happy with the performance he and his teammates put in against Barcelona despite the fact it could not prevent elimination from the Champions League.

“We put in a good performance from a tactical and physical point of view, we created so many chances. You are made to pay against teams like Barcelona if you do not score them. We gave everything and perhaps we deserved something more but unfortunately it ended this way,” he told Inter TV.

“It is very important to be united, we work day by day to improve ourselves. This defeat must not stop us. There are still so many games to play and we can do so many things together. We are sorry but we will now start to think about Sunday’s game which will be a difficult match.”
