Inter manager Antonio Conte will soon sit down and meet with club management to discuss the plans for the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

As per the report, Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul and Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso are two names likely to be discussed during the meeting.

Inter have reportedly identified de Paul as their primary target to strengthen their midfield. His employers are believed to value him at around €35 million and other reports in the media have suggested that Inter will try to land the versatile Argentine on a loan with obligation to buy basis.

As for Alonso, it is understood that Inter have sparked an interest in signing him due to Kwadwo Asamoah’s continued knee troubles. The Spanish wing back has fallen right down the pecking order at Chelsea this season and is no stranger to Inter manager Antonio Conte as it was in fact Conte who took him to Chelsea.
