Former Italian national team manager Marcello Lippi has shared his views on Inter’s exit from the Champions League.
“Inter were a bit unlucky yesterday, unfortunately they failed to take advantage of Barcelona’s rotated side. Perhaps it would have been better if all their starters played as Inter would have played with a different spirit. It was a tough game, a very tough one,” he told ADNKronos.
“The Nerazzurri had created a lot of chances and had a goal chopped off for offside. They went close to qualifying. Now it is all about the league for them, they are in the lead and they will concentrate mainly on that.”
