Beccalossi: “Last Five Months At Inter Have Been Extraordinary”

Inter legend Evaristo Beccalossi has shared his delight at how the past few months have went generally for Inter since the arrival of Antonio Conte as manager of the club.

Although Inter crashed out of the Champions League in mid-week, having been in a group of death, they are flying high in the league and are sitting at the top of the Serie A table, two points clear of arch-rivals Juventus.

“The last five months have been extraordinary. Antonio Conte is a winner, Gabriele Oriali has arrived, who is a guarantee, Giuseppe Marotta has done well in everything and changed a lot,” he explained in an interview with Milanese newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

“If someone had told me Inter would have been ahead of Juventus at this stage in the Serie A I would have told them to do one. Of course, work still has to be done and we still need to improve more but I want to look at the positive parts.”
