Former Inter winger Jonathan Biabiany has labelled former Inter manager Frank de Boer, the worst manager in the Nerazzurri’s history.
de Boer arrived at Inter in 2016 with a lot of hype surrounding him given his success whilst at Ajax but lasted just 85 days in the job before being sacked following a poor start to the 2016/17 campaign.
“It hurt me very much to hear from him that we were a rotten group so I answered him immediately. We did not have a good relationship and I never understood why he cast me aside,” he explained in an interview with ItaSportsPress.it.
“I was not the only one who did not understand him because even those who played said they did not understand de Boer’s ideas and he always showed himself as being arrogant. In my opinion, he is the worst Inter manager in history.
“I grew up at Inter and I still consider them as my family. I won my first trophies there and I also spent my darkest moment there. The memories are all beautiful and I wish the best to the Nerazzurri. I am one of the biggest fans.”
The Frenchman, who is now playing for Trapani, also spoke on Antonio Conte.
“Conte has already transmitted a true identity to the team. I was sorry to see them exit from the Champions League. Fortunately though, Inter are doing well in the league. They can keep the pace with Juventus until the end.
“Given the many injuries, Inter have to reinforce the team in the January transfer window by signing a new striker and a midfielder. I think Conte’s Inter can win the Scudetto.”
