Fiorentina defender Dalbert has admitted he will not hold off from celebrating if he is to score against his parent club Inter this weekend.
“Will I celebrate? Absolutely. It is a sign of respect towards Fiorentina, who believed in me, and the fans, who have always supported me,” he remarked in an interview with Roman newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
He was then asked on how it feels to have become a virtual ever-present in the Fiorentina team something he was far from being at Inter.
“That’s life for you. The manager made his decision and I wanted to have more playing time. Joining Fiorentina was the best choice I could have made.”
The Brazilian then gave under-pressure manager Vincenzo Montella a vote of confidence.
“We all rate him, he is a fantastic manager and a great person. On the pitch, I also run for him, like the rest of the team does.”
