Inter are in the process of drafting up their first offer to send to Chelsea for Marcos Alonso according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri wish to sign the 28-year-old Spaniard on a loan with option to buy basis. They are willing to spend €2/3 million for the loan itself and a further sum of around €20 million to land him on a permanent basis if things go well for him in Milan.
Chelsea however are unlikely to accept these terms, this despite the fact Alonso has fallen completely out-of-favour and not even been in the squad whatsoever for several weeks now.
The Premier League side would rather an obligation to buy was attached over just a simple option. Moreover, they want more for the former Fiorentina man due to the fact he is in his prime years and is under contract until the end of the 2022/23 season.
