Inter president Steven Zhang has been in contact with Atalanta over Dejan Kulusevski according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Zhang is understood to have offered Atalanta a loan with option to buy deal for the 19-year-old Swedish international which will have a total value of €35 million.

Inter manager Antonio Conte has also been in contact with Parma manager Roberto D’Aversa and sporting director Daniele Faggiano, both of whom he is close friends with, in a bid to convince them to cut Kulusevski’s loan with them short in order to allow him to join Inter immediately in January.

The report goes on to state that Inter are also unlikely to be making any move for Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal due to the fact the Catalan club have no interest in loaning the Chilean international out.

Inter are also in advanced negotiations with Udinese over Rodrigo de Paul. Inter are willing to offer €5 million for an 18-month loan deal that would come with an option to buy for €25 million.

The report goes on to conclude that Inter are calm regarding Lautaro Martinez despite Barcelona’s strong interest in them. If he is to depart, Inter will use money raised through his sale to bring in Federico Chiesa and Erling Braut Haaland.
