Inter are closely monitoring the physical condition of Italian midfielder Antonio Candreva, as they hope to bring the player to tomorrow’s league clash against Fiorentina, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The report details how the 32-year-old Italian is still feeling a little back pain, following on from the injury he suffered against Roma last weekend. Whilst he was brought to the Nerazzurri’s disappointing 2-1 defeat against Barcelona in the Champions League earlier this week, he didn’t appear.
The club will take stock of his physical condition today after the training session, hoping that he will be available for tomorrow’s game against the Florence based club.
Inter coach Antonio Conte has had some good news, however, with both Stefano Sensi and Alexis Sanchez returning to the pitch and working with the ball, the report highlights. The 50-year-old Italian is keen to ensure that no risks are taken, and both aren’t expected to play again for the Nerazzurri in 2019, instead being saved for after the winter break.
