Inter will still be without either Kwadwo Asamoah or Roberto Gagliardini for their league clash against Fiorentina tomorrow, although Antonio Candreva could make a return, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report details how the 30-year-old Ghanaian midfielder is still suffering from knee problems and won’t be able to appear against the Florence based club tomorrow, with Italian midfielder Gagliardini still suffering from arch pain.
The only good news for coach Antonio Conte is that Candreva is a potential option for tomorrow’s game, although he is expected to start the game on the bench, due to his precarious physical condition.
Inter vice president Javier Zanetti was present at the team’s training session at Appiano Gentile yesterday, the report highlights.
Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni is expected to return to the starting 11 for tomorrow’s game, with Danilo D’Ambrosio also likely to start over Cristiano Biraghi on the left side of the pitch. On the right side, with Candreva starting on the bench, Austrian midfielder Valentino Lazaro is expected to start.
