Inter Primavera midfielder Lucien Agoume is hoping to make his debut with the Nerazzurri first team soon, due to the injury crisis the club are currently experiencing in the midfield department. Antonio Candreva will also not be brought to today’s game against Fiorentina, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the 17-year-old Frenchman has impressed by the Nerazzurri management and coach Antonio Conte, with his physical strength and excellent vision on the pitch making him stand out. The player has made eight appearances for the Nerazzurri Primavera squad so far this season, providing three assists in the process. He also shined with the French U-17 squad at the U-17 World Cup in Brazil last month.

Furthermore, the report continues, Candreva will not join the team for the trip to Florence today, due to a back injury that is still bothering him. This leaves Agoume as the only real alternative option for the midfield, unless Conte decides to push defender Milan Skriniar up to join the midfield trio instead, a role he’s previously played with Slovakia.
