Inter will be using tonight’s league clash against Fiorentina to observe two transfer targets, Federico Chiesa and Gaetano Castrovilli, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how Chiesa has been identified as a perfect fit for coach Antonio Conte’s tactical system and his qualities have long been noted. The Nerazzurri would look to play the Italian forward on the right side of midfield, allowing him to link up with the attacking partnership of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.

The report also suggests that Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio would be willing to offer Fiorentina either Roberto Gagliardini or Matteo Politano for the player, alongside some extra money. Juventus are still keen on Chiesa, however, and his expensive price of around €60-70 million may cause some issues.

Whilst Castrovilli isn’t a priority, the report adds, he is still an option if the Nerazzurri fail to secure the signature of Atalanta owned midfielder Dejan Kulusevski.
