A report from Italian media outlet SportMediaset today has analysed all the possible market moves that Inter are looking to make in the upcoming January transfer window.
The report details how the Nerazzurri will have the opportunity to watch Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa first-hand tonight, in the league clash between the two sides. Whilst he is a target for the Nerazzurri, his high price and the competition from Juventus may make the deal more complicated.
Other moves the Nerazzurri could make in January, the report continues, include Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal, although his arrival now looks unlikely due to the Blaugrana’s unwillingness to let him leave on loan.
Udinese talisman Rodrigo De Paul is another option and the Nerazzurri could look to sign him either in January or next summer, depending on the sale of a few loaned-out players.
Atalanta owned midfielder Dejan Kulusevski is at the top of Inter’s wish list, the report highlights, and president Steven Zhang’s excellent relationship with Atalanta president Antonio Percassi may facilitate negotiations.
Finally, the Nerazzurri are negotiating with Chelsea for both full back Marcos Alonso, who Inter would like to sign on a loan deal with a buy option attached, as well as interest in French striker Olivier Giroud, although his contract demands may push Inter away.
