Italian Report Suggests Parma Full Back Matteo Darmian Will Join Inter Either In January Or Next Summer

Parma full back Matteo Darmian will be joining Inter, now the only question is whether he will arrive in the upcoming January transfer window or in next summer’s transfer window, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how coach Antonio Conte appreciates the tactical flexibility of the former Manchester United full back, being able to play on both the left and right side of the pitch. Now the only question is whether the Nerazzurri will make a move for him in January or wait until next summer if Parma are unwilling to negotiate a deal for the 30-year-old Italian.

Another transfer target that seems destined to join the Milanese club is Udinese talisman Rodrigo De Paul, the report continues. The 25-year-old Argentine midfielder is a big fan of Conte and his recent performances suggest that he isn’t fully on board with his teammates at the Friulian club.

However, an agreement between the Nerazzurri and Udinese still needs to be reached, the report adds. Inter are willing to offer a loan deal with a buy option attached, but the Friulian club want at least €30 million for his signature.
