Fiorentina’s Stadio Artemio Franchi will be almost full tonight for tonight’s league clash between Inter and the Viola, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how over 37 thousand tickets have been sold for tonight’s game, despite the run of bad form the club are currently experiencing. Fiorentina haven’t won a league game in their last five, but the fans are hopeful that a win against the league leaders tonight could see their team return to good form.

The number could be even higher, if it wasn’t for two factors, the report highlights. The first of these is that Inter haven’t sold out their allocated tickets for the away section yet, potentially due to the timing of the game, a Sunday night evening game.

Secondly, the bad form of Fiorentina at the moment may have led some fans to prefer to stay at home, rather than head to the stadium.
