Transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed that today is an important day for Inter’s chances of landing Arturo Vidal in the upcoming January transfer window.

“Today is an important day for two Barcelona players who could land in Italy; Jean-Clair Todibo at AC Milan and Arturo Vidal at Inter. Today is an important day to understand the feasibility of the two deals. It is possible that there will be news on the business of the two Milanese clubs today,” he remarked in the Sky Sport Italia studios.

Inter have drawn strong links to Chilean international Vidal in recent weeks and months as they look to reinforce their midfield department.

The 32-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Barcelona this season and has made no secret of the fact that he is far from pleased with his current situation.

Inter want to bring him in on loan but several reports state Barcelona will only let him go on a permanent basis.
