Inter full back Danilo D’Ambrosio discussed the Nerazzurri’s disappointing 1-1 draw against Fiorentina last night in an interview immediately after the match with Italian media outlet InterTV.

“The game was played well, it’s normal that you’re mistaken if you expect to come here and not even concede a shot on target. We pressed very hard igh up the pitch, then at times we dropped down a level. We had our chances today too, only one was used.”

The 31-year-old Italian then spoke further about the game, as well as what Inter will do looking ahead.

“Then there was a great goal from them. And we’re going back home with two points less. We’re sorry, but already tomorrow we’ll have our heads down and we’ll work.”

“We’ll try to end this 2019 in a good way. Nobody is giving up here, nobody wants to give up. We’ll give 110% like we’ve been doing. We’re not crying, against Genoa those who play will know what they have to do.”
