Several Barcelona players are at work trying to convince teammate Arturo Vidal to stay at the club according to a report from Mundo Deportivo.

The Chilean international has drawn strong links to Inter ahead of the opening of the January transfer window in two weeks time and as per some reports he has seemingly already made his mind up that he wishes to depart the Blaugrana club in January.

The unnamed teammates are being insistent with the 32-year-old former Juventus central midfielder that they deem him an important player to the team due to his wealth of experience.

Reports in both the Italian and Spanish media as of late state that Inter are looking to sign Vidal on loan for the remainder of the season, possibly with an option to buy attached.

This season Vidal has made 17 appearances across all competitions. In 642 minutes on the field, he has scored four goals and provided one assist.
