Legendary Italian striker and current manager of Serie B side Benevento, Filippo Inzaghi has discussed the race for the Serie A title this season.

“The league title has not been fought for like it has this year for a while. Juventus remain the favourites but Inter are making life hard for them and if my brother, Simone, gets a result tonight with his Lazio, he could keep Serie A alive,” he explained in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Anch’io Lo Sport

“It is clear that Juventus are different and when you have the front three that they have, they can also think about winning the Champions League.”

He concluded: “I hope that there will be a fight to the end for the title though. Inter and Juvetnus are on another level to Lazio but if Lazio can make it into the Champions League it would be extraordinary for them.”
