Milan Skriniar could be deployed in midfield for Inter’s match at home to Genoa this coming weekend according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Inter’s midfield has been hammered by injuries in recent weeks and things have only gotten even worse after Borja Valero sustained an injury at the end of Sunday’s draw away to Fiorentina and Marcelo Brozovic picked up another booking which means he will be suspended.

Skriniar is primarily a central defender but does often play in the midfield when representing Slovakia on the international stage. He could be deployed right in front of the defensive line.

The report goes on to state that it is unlikely that youngster Lucien Agoume will be given a chance to start the match. The Frenchman made his first team debut but showed with his performance that he is still very raw and not quite ready.

It also states that Stefano Sensi could be available to Inter manager Antonio Conte for around half an hour off of the substitutes bench but Conte may decide against rushing him back to avoid the injury reoccurring yet again.
