In an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Cagliari president Tomasso Giulini has spoken on the importance of loanee Radja Nainggolan to the team.
“He is a leader for this team, both on the pitch and in the dressing room. He arrived with a certain humility and a disarming attitude, he immediately put himself at the disposal of the coach,” he began.
“Away from football, everyone has their private life and can do with that what they wish, obviously within the limits imposed by the club, but he never allows himself to be overcome.
He concluded: “He is one of the leading players of this time alongside Joao Pedro and Luca Ceppitelli. There are always four or five players who run the dressing room, there is never just one.”
Nainggolan has made 15 appearances across all competitions since arriving at the Rossoblu on a season long loan from Inter. In 1137 minutes on the field, he has scored four goals and provided five assists.
