Inter Cool Interest In Torino’s Armando Izzo

Inter have cooled their recent interest in signing Armando Izzo from Torino according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.

The 27-year-old Italian centre back has cemented himself as one of the best defenders in Italy in recent seasons and recently signed a contract extension with the Granata which includes a €30 million release clause in it, which is only valid for the winter transfer window.

Inter, as per the report, have seriously thought about the former Genoa man in recent months with manager Antonio Conte deeming him perfect for his three man defensive system but they are instead focusing on other positions for the January window.

As per many reports in the media, the Nerazzurri are targeting a new left wing back and a new central midfielder. There has been no shortage of links to players for both positions with Marcos Alonso, Matteo Darmian, Arturo Vidal, Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo de Paul among those to have been linked.
