Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud is being pushed even closer to the exit door at Stamford Bridge with the Premier League outfit having identified Lille’s Victor Osimhen as a player they wish to bring in in January according to a report from British broadcaster Sky Sports.

Giroud has fallen down the pecking order at the Blues this season and with aspirations of being part of France’s squad for EURO 2020, he is well aware he needs to move elsewhere for regular playing time.

Inter are one team to have taken an interest in signing him as have their city rivals AC Milan. The veteran striker’s contract is due to expire at the end of the current season meaning Chelsea are unlikely to command a large fee for him.

With their transfer ban set to be lifted, Chelsea are also far more likely to do be open to doing deals due to now being able to replace players who depart.
