Al Hilal attacker Sebastian Giovinco has admitted that Inter’s performances in Serie A this season have not taken him by surprise.
“Am I surprised by Antonio Conte’s Inter this season? Absolutely not. I had said from the beginning that they were one of the contenders for the Serie A title. Juventus have been winning the title for eight years in a row and they are always the team to beat,” the former Juventus player explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.
Juventus currently occupy top spot in the league standings at the moment having picked up 42 points but have played one more game than Inter, who will be able to overtake them if they are to win their game in hand.
Inter play host to lowly Genoa this weekend at San Siro and are largely expected to pile the misery onto the Rossoblu club who are currently languishing in 19th place.
