Arturo Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich could be set for talks with Barcelona today to discuss his client’s future with them amid continued interest from Inter according to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

Vidal is unhappy with his current playing situation and wants out of the club in search of more regular playing time, something he would be far more likely to get at Inter, where he would be reunited with former manager Antonio Conte, who he arguably played his best football under.

Barcelona are adamant that they will not let the Chilean international depart the club in January for anything other than an irrefutable offer for him.

Although down the pecking order, Barcelona deem the 32-year-old a very important player for their project and deem him essential toward helping the team achieve this season’s goals.

This season Vidal has made 18 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored four goals and provided a single assist.
