Inter have met with Atalanta to hold talks over a potential Summer transfer window swoop for Dejan Kulusevski according to a report from Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Nerazzurri are keen to beat the competition to land the 19-year-old’s signature and Inter would like to get a deal in place as soon as possible.
Inter will look to close the deal with Atalanta throughout the January transfer window but for budgetary reasons will not officially confirm and announce the move until the opening of the Summer transfer window.
Atalanta would like to sell him in January but would need for Parma to agree to cancel his loan with them which, for the moment, seems unlikely.
The two clubs will meet again in the coming days or week for fresh talks in an attempt to thrash out a deal for the youngster, who has scored four and assisted six in 18 appearanraces this season.
